Check out this refreshing take on one of my favorite snacks for a picnic or watching a sporting game. Although this dish isn’t low carb because of the mangos, my tofu “chip” replacement is low carb version compared to the standard potato chips. Hope you enjoy this as much as I did.
American Tofu Chips & Mango Salsa
Ingredients
Tofu Chips
- 12 oz of House Foods Organic Tofu
Salsa
- 2 medium diced mangos
- 1 large diced avocado
- 2 medium chopped red bell peppers
- 1/3 cup minced fresh cilantro
- 1/4 cup minced shallots
- 1/4 tbsp jalapeno
- 2 tsp lime juice
Instructions
Tofu Chips
Preheat oven to 300F (218C).
Thinly slice the House Foods Organic Super Firm Tofu.
Pat dry with paper towels.
Spray cooking oil onto your baking sheet.
Place your tofu “chips” onto the baking sheet
Bake for 20-30 minutes and flip the tofu slices.
Bake for another 15-20 min until the chips are crispy.
Set aside and let the chip cool.
Salsa
For the salsa, mix these ingredients together. Serve with the tofu chips.
